Cirque du Soleil & Disney share behind the scenes video of ‘Drawn to Life

The new show debuts on March 20

On Dec. 31, 2017, the Cirque du Soleil theater at Disney Springs held its last performance of La Nouba.

Now, three years later a brand new, Disney-inspired show is coming to Disney Springs.

Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil & Disney is a story about the love of Disney a father and daughter share.

The show follows Julie, a courageous and determined young girl. She is the daughter of a Disney animator. During the show, Julie is guided by Mr. Pencil as they reunite with characters from her childhood.

Throughout her journey, she learns to imagine new possibilities and animate the story of her future using her own unique touch.

The show will feature “delightful, mesmerizing movements of Cirque du Soleil acrobatic mastery pair with the magic of Disney animation to accentuate the story,” the Disney Parks Blog said.

Of course what's a good story without a villain.

"Julie also encounters Miss Hésitation, the story’s villain, who reflects Julie’s own doubts and fears as an artist, the Disney Parks Blog said.

A behind-the-scenes video was recently released and only adds to the anticipation we’re feeling.
