Disney Parks share messages of thanks on World Health Day amid COVID-19 pandemic

From Shanghai and Honk Kong to Paris and the United States, thank you means the in every language

Disney movies have taught us that heroes can come in all shapes and all sizes.


During the coronavirus pandemic, healthcare workers from around the globe have been on the front line helping control the spread of COVID-19 and treating those who have tested positive for the virus.


April 7 marked World Health Day, and as a sign of thanks, Disney parks and resorts from all areas of the world said thank you to those fighting to keep us safe.

“We are uniting across the globe with a message of thanks and appreciation to celebrate the brave healthcare providers who are helping so many,” a Disney official said on the Disney Parks Blog.


Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President of Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment team shared

a special message for those working to fight the coronavirus from his entire team at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
