No official word yet on when Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open
Guests at Walt Disney World are able to get a sneak peek of what crews at Disney have been working on for the past year.
Disney secretly opened an additional area inside the France pavilion that will soon lead guests to Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.
The ride has been under construction since before the pandemic began. Because it is was close to completion, crews were able to resume construction when the park reopened in June.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was originally scheduled to open in the summer of 2020, but like many other projects was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
From the newly opened area, guests can get a glimpse of the sign over Remy's Ratatouille Adventure for Gusteau's Restaurant. Of course, the doors below the sign will not lead you to a five-star restaurant but will instead take you on a mouse-sized adventure.
Recently, the park offered Emily Jacobsen, the TikTok user who started the "Ratatouille" Musical, a chance to check out the ride.

The attraction will be Epcot's first trackless ride and will shrink guests to the size of a mouse and take them inside Gusteau’s as they navigate through a gigantic kitchen.
When the rest of the area opens up, guests will be able to enjoy a creperie and additional shops.
While there is no official date for when Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open, rumors among Disney fan groups predict that there may be a soft opening for the ride in late January.
Have you visited the newly opened area? What were your thoughts?
